Besides rescue officers in Nepal, there is a team of pediatricians fromRussia - Dr. Roshal's brigade, as it is known in the world for many years, or a mobile pediatric team of the Research Institute of Emergency Children's Surgery and Traumatology in Moscow.
In a short time, mobile team, consisting of seven employees of the Institute, after consulting 324 patients - children and adults, made 52 operations and transportation in five hospitals in Kathmandu.
At the request of colleagues, traumatized children were counseled in Israeli mobile hospital, so the tactics of their treatment was determined.
There was a lecture for local doctors on the specifics of care for children in disasters and wars.
Health Minister of Nepal, Mr. Khaga Raj Adhikori, in person, thanked Russian Pediatric Surgeons for help.

The team of Dr. Roshal consists of 7 people- doctors of medical Research Institute of Emergency Children's Surgery and Traumatology in Moscow, who have extensive experience in assisting children in earthquakes around the world. It includes trauma surgeons, neurosurgeons, anesteziologi- resuscitators, specialists in the treatment of purulent wounds and crush syndrome.
The head of the pediatric team is the Head of Contaminated Surgery Institute of Emergency Children's Surgery and Traumatology, member of the Board of the Fund, Candidate of Medical Sciences, Mitish Valery Afanasievich.
